Doesn’t work for me, March 24, 2009

First of all, this kit is good for sampling purpose. The kit claims to brighten the skin but I don’t see any difference after I finished them all. I break out frequently with it too. The only comfort I get is knowing I’m using chemical free product. The white tea gel cleanser: to me, it’s a bit harsh cause my skin feels tight after using it. I don’t favor the smell either cause it reminds me of the toilet bowl cleaner scent. The wild rose serum: no complain on smell or texture. It’s just another moisturizer to me. The wild rose moisturizer: texture wise, a bit creamy/oil feel. Uncomfortable feel on the face when I first apply it. After awhile feels ok. May be that’s the reason I break out? Not sure. I like the smell though. I always take a deep breath when I apply it. Nice. Wild rose mask: Eventhough it feels creamy/oily I like it as a mask cause it doesn’t dry out and crack on my face like clay mask does. well, this one makes my skin looks fresh, clean and well moisturized. I might buy this one again. Like other product packaging with screw caps, hate them! I’m clumsy and always drop the cap.

Try the kit before buying full sizes, December 22, 2009

I highly recommend that people try the kit before buying the largers sizes of these products – money is tight for everyone these days and the cost of good, quality skincare certainly is not going down. Every day there is some new skin care product on the market getting rave reviews, but if you run out and purchase new products all the time it can cost a fortune, so I love it when companies offer trial size kits like Korres did with this one, allowing you to try several of their products for a better price. I have heard and read many wonderful things about Korres products – particularly the rose products. I have to say that after using the product for about 2 weeks now I really have not noticed any improvement in my skin. The cleanser does a decent job of cleansing, and the rose moisturizer does a good job of moisturizing without leaving an oily residue – it absorbs quickly and has a nice light scent. Overall though my skin didn’t change at all, if anything it seemed a bit drier due to the harsh winter air. I had been hoping that use of this product would leave my skin a little more balanced and hydrated, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. This isn’t to say that this product doesn’t work or isn’t good – I have very sensitive skin and complex skin – it’s dry in some areas and oily in others, so finding a skin care product that doesn’t irritate or over-dry or over-moisturize is often difficult. This product did not irritate my skin at all so that in itself was a plus. The cleanser did not over-dry, and my skin did not feel excessively oily after using the moisturizer. Yes the product works- for me it did not provide exceptional results but that doesn’t mean it won’t for others, which is why I encourage you to get the trial-size kit first before investing in the larger more expensive sizes of their products.

Great product, June 24, 2009

I noticed a difference in my skin when I started using the samples I was given, so I ordered the full size. I love it. I have dry skin and I’m nearing 60, if that makes a difference to anyone wanting to try it.
